The French Canadian/Acadian Genealogists of Wisconsin Quarterly features articles on French Canadian/Acadian research, historical as well as cultural information, published genealogies, and news about many current genealogical events. The annually published surname list consists of major surnames being researched by members.

"A Quarter of a Century" by Pat Geyh

Wisconsin run genealogy conferences and a lecture by Pat Geyh and Laurie Becker (Coach: Marie St. Louis) created a nucleus of interested genealogists. Their first meeting was held 9 February 1982.
The article reviews the progression of meeting sites, research trips to Quebec and Salt Lake and several books the society has published. Current project: extraction of sacramental records of St. Louis Church, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

"Quebec Last June (1980)" by Howard Gauthier

Fun filled adventure of seventeen French Canadian Genealogists of Wisconsin, destination: Quebec. There was sight seeing, research, stays at McGill University; Montreal, University of Quebec, Trois Rivieres; and first class accommodations at Governor's Garden Hotel, Quebec City. "Borderlines: Back to Jean Cote" by Joyce Banachowski

Border Lines is written in a a format that begins with the immigrant ancestor (number 1). It uses numbers in brackets to reference footnotes and marginal numbers in parentheses to indicate the identity of the next generation person, where one can find detailed descriptions.

The fifteen page article details Jean Cote, born at Mortagne, Perche, France and died on Ile d'Orleans 27 March 1661. The last entry is for Andrew Soltis and Mabel Rose Marie Cote, parents of the author. Footnotes.
